About the Position

As a Lead electrical heating engineer you will be responsible to take up the technical lead to develop and implement electrical heating systems. You will provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to the Electrical and Mechanical team, ensuring the successful execution of our ETO projects.

You will report directly to our Director of Engineering or Electrical Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Vilvoorde, Belgium or Lotte, Germany location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Your Responsibilities:

• Technical lead and advisor on ETO projects incorporating electrical process heaters.
• Review customer specifications to develop the right technical solution,
• Perform safety analyses and make sure our system is designed according to the applicable regulations (Machinery directive, EN 746-2, NFPA 86, EN60204 IEC 61349),
• Engineering the electrical controls with aid of Electrical CAD software,
• Engineering electrical heaters with aid of Mechanical design software,
• Define and order the required system’s material on time,
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve processes.

We Require:

• Master’s degree in engineering focused on electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• 6+ years of experience in electric heating engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge of electric heating design principles, practices, and standards.
• Experience with CAD is required, Eplan or AutoCAD Electrical and Inventor or Solid Edge.
• Experience with ERP systems is an asset,
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
• Languages: Dutch and proficiency in English and German is required.
• Must be proactive, results oriented, growth and customer focused
