Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with metrology team to improve inspection processes, create standards and problem solve.
  • Learn and understand metrology challenges to provide better impact with statistics
  • Deliver analysis in all areas of Data Science and Applied Statistics with ability to assess Operations Research activities.
  • Communicate to teams delivering design, manufacturing, assembly, test, field, and repair activities.
  • Uses LEAN tools and approaches, including decision theory and problem solving.
  • Facilitates a culture of psychological safety where all voices are heard, respected and encouraged.
  • Leads projects through risk evaluation, consensus building, and collaborative decision making.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university in Statistical Data Science, Industrial Statistics, Mathematics, Statistics (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Statistical Data Science, Industrial Statistics, Mathematics, Statistics experience)

Desired Characteristics

  • Master of Science in Data Science or Applied Statistics
  • Innovative leader with a demonstrated ability to guide complex projects
  • Recognized expert in Data Science and Applied Statistics and has working knowledge in Operations Research.
  • Knowledgeable of APQP, Robust Design, MSA, and LEAN processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate risk, build consensus, and involve appropriate functions to make clear decisions.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
