Job overview and responsibilities

Deliver Revenue System portfolio’s project and support objectives by managing staff, planning, and evaluating department activities. Hire, train, motivate, and coach employees. Oversee employee work duties to ensure that all productivity needs are met.

• Recruit, interview, and hire, employees while planning staffing at all levels in the department.
• Encourage and motivate all employees to work collaboratively to meet goals while fulfilling their job responsibilities.
• Mentor junior developers to ensure deliverables are on time, within budget, and with good code quality.
• Demonstrate an innovative mentality by staying aware of new developments within the technology space and present solutions using new technologies to adapt to provide value to business.
• Work effectively with onshore and business teams.
• Effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner.
• Participate in design meetings and determine technical requirements.

Required

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems.
• 6+ years hands-on industry experience in software development, ideally in a DevSecOps environment.
• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering for mission critical applications.
• Experience working as a Manager or Technical lead.
• 6+ years managing a high-performance software development team.
• 3+ years of experience in managing onshore/offshore delivery.
• AWS Certified Solution Architect.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator/Developer.
• Onshore/offshore delivery best practices.
• Ability to prioritize a high volume of tasks. Ability to all levels of the organization. Self-starter who takes initiative and is proactive.
• Exhibit written and spoken English fluency.
• Proven Experience as a DevSecOps/DevOps/SRE Engineer or in a similar role.
• Translate product strategy and requirements into suitable, maintainable and scalable solution design according to existing architecture guardrails.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to understand project requirements and design effective DevOps solutions.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software builds, testing, and deployment.
• Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
• Implement and maintain observability, SREs for proactive issue resolution.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Github) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Harness, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of security best practices in a DevOps environment (Code Scan and Security Scan e.g. Wiz, Veracode, Sonar).
• Must be self-motivated, possess strong communication skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
• Creative and innovative.
• Working experience in agile delivery framework.
