Roles Overview:
Execute design and analysis activities for Structural components of engine modules for issue resolution, performance improvements, cost/weight reduction, Durability and producibility improvements
Delivery on cost, performance & weight targets
Collaborate with PSE for developing field plan
Should network with Commodity CTHs, Cross functional teams viz. Supply Chain, Repair, MAE, CTPs and Shop technical teams to achieve the desired outcomes
Foster and inspire a collaborative work style and display team-oriented behavior with proactive communication internally and externally
Provide technical guidance & mentor younger engineers in team
Leverage digital tools & analyze the data insights to drive appropriate actions
Ideal Candidate:
Should have experience in Mechanical design/hardware ownership.
Required Qualifications
PhD/MTech /MS/BTech/BE in Mechanical/Aerospace
4+ years of relevant experience on Mechanical design/hardware ownership/ Finite element analysis of rotating parts preferably in aircraft engine/gas turbine domain.
Desired Characteristics
Exposure to Heat transfer analysis, Lifing methodologies, Manufacturing processes will be added advantage
Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
