Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is seeking a Lead Project Engineer to join the Phantom Works Special Technology Integration team in Mesa, AZ.
The ideal candidate should have experience in leading project teams on development and manufacturing programs. Candidate should have experience in developing Statements of Work, Budgetary and Proposal estimates, leading multi-disciplinary teams on the projects, updating project plans, and communication with internal and external customers.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop Statements of Work, Budgetary inputs, and Proposals
Coordinate execution with multi-disciplinary teams
Manage appropriate aspects of critical supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance to requirements
Perform Risk Management
Update project status, metrics, and plans
Work under minimal direction
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
3 or more years of experience with engineering project planning
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years related work experience, Master+7 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation:

Summary pay range: 114,750 – 155,250
