Join the industry leader to design the next generation of breakthroughsBe the leader of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance for multiple parallel projects, working closely with Project Engineers from other groups and the Program Managers. You will partner with the technical resource managers, assist with staffing, and be the primary focal for program cost, schedule, and technical issue coordination and escalation. You will lead prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives, and drive overall program performance. The Platforms Center-of-Excellent Engineering team includes diverse Software, Electrical, Mechanical, and FPGA/ASIC teams and you will coordinate all of them with our customer programs.
Key Responsibilities- Project planning, status, execution, and escalation
- Drive clear communications between Technical leaders
- Optimize the team through procedural improvements and automations
- Driving HW/SW quotation estimate efforts and approvals
- Facilitating various teams to solutions and agreement
- Drive and improve project engineering practices for Hardware & Software groups
- Process champion: project-specific operating systems and larger reuse and multi-project considerations
- Mentoring junior engineers
U.S. CITIZEN REQUIREMENTS Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
YOU MUST HAVE- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
- To conform to U.S. Government technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
