Lead Engineering Support Specialist

As part of our Project Engineering team, you will leverage your technical experience and leadership skills to lead the group and provide technical and support to our SATCOM products. You will liaison with Production, Integrated Supply Chain, Field Service Personal and SATCOM Engineering teams in a fast-paced environment that require actively responding to competing priorities and rapidly assessing the situation to develop solutions and drive them to closure.

Key Responsibilities

• Single point accountability for project from Engineering.
• Lead, manage program management activities with coordination with functional Pes.
• Lead and coordinate engineering proposal activities.
• Support NPI team to manage suppliers and production activities.
• Support product management & PMO team as necessary.
• Manage metrics for:
  • SPI/CPI/EV
  • Program Milestones
  • Program Resources demand MOS.
  • EAC/ETC management.
  • Develop and maintain program scorecard/dashboard.
• Executive communication, ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum overall experience > 8 years.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in SATCOM product.

WE VALUE

• Working knowledge of overall engineering disciplines - systems, hardware, software, certification for the SATCOM product line highly desired.
• Working knowledge/Experience in managing FAA/TCCA TSOs, STCs and aircraft certifications.
• Working knowledge/Familiarity with standards, DO-178, DO-254, DO-160 a plus.
• Working knowledge/Familiarity with Inmarsat/Iridium SATCOM product certification.
• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
