Imagine, design, anddevelop products and systems as part of a highly engaged and integratedengineering team. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meetthe evolving needs of our customers. You will participate in all phases ofproduct development and will be part of a group of talented professionals whoseexpertise ensures the success of engineering projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and drive execution of engineering projects related to the development of wheel and brake solutions.
  • Coordinate with various discipline engineering team members to solve challenging technical requirements and problems.
  • Employ PM tools and development processes such as work-breakdown-structure (WBS), basis-of-estimate (BOE) management, requirements management, scheduling, and cost management.
  • Manage project costs, resources, and schedules and report out to stakeholders.
  • Manage the design and analysis of detail designs for new and existing products lines.
  • Evaluate existing designs/processes for improvements in cost, quality, and producibility.
  • Develop test plans and review test data to validate and verify product capability.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors Degree in an engineering field, preferably Mechanical, Material or Aerospace.
  • 7+ year(s) technical project and/or program management experience.
WE VALUE
  • 10+ years of project engineering or program management experience with direct customer interaction or support.
  • Planning / Estimation, including resource, material, capital, and other needs.
  • Scheduling, including resource-loading and critical path analysis.
  • Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.
  • Power of influence on others to accept and develop ownership of new concepts, practices, and approaches.
  • Business acumen and knowledge of current and emerging practices, methods, and information relevant to the aerospace industry.
  • Ability to redefine an optimal balance of engineering speed, agility, and quality of work.
  • Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, and ability to adjust priorities quickly.
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
