Job Title: Aerospace Quality Engineer
Job Description
As an Aerospace Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in inspecting manufactured and repair parts on behalf of the FAA. This position involves performing conformity and qualification checks for sister companies and customers. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the highest quality standards for mechanical and electrical parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies during various inspection phases.
Responsibilities
- Inspect mechanical and electrical parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies during receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
- Identify, document, and secure nonconforming parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies, and submit them to the Material Review Board (MRB) for disposition.
- Provide inspection feedback to suppliers and other internal departments to improve overall quality.
- Ensure compliance with customer, statutory, and regulatory agency regulations including FAA, EASA, and ITAR.
- Manage the quality aspects of design activities at the system level, including development reviews, approving released documentation, validating customer requirements, and overseeing qualification tests.
- Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and generate/review FAI documentation in accordance with SAE AS9102.
- Support and complete Root Cause Corrective Action analysis and implementation of corrective actions (RCCA/CAPA).
- Support the maintenance of Quality Management System documentation.
- Support the timely completion and documentation of the Internal Audit Process.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
