Job Description:

Position Summary:The Machining Process Engineer is responsible for developing, industrializing, and continuously improving machining processes to support safe, efficient, and high quality production.The role contributes to cost reduction, productivity improvement, and operator capability development through robust process design and technical expertise.Key Responsibilities:1.Process & Industrialization•Lead the industrialization of new parts in coordination with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams.•Develop and optimize machining processes for turning, milling, and mill turn equipment.•Create and validate: oCNC programs (CATIA)oFixtures and tooling solutionsoTooling lists and setup instructionsoProcess documentation and work instructions•Perform process simulation, verification, and prove out prior to serial production.2.Production Support & Continuous Improvement•Provide technical support to production cells for quality and efficiency issues (QRQC, 8D).•Analyze root causes of process non conformities and implement corrective actions.•Propose and implement improvement actions to: oReduce machining cycle timeoReduce consumables and non value added timeoImprove overall equipment efficiency•Work closely with cell leaders to achieve cell KPIs.3.Cost & Performance•Contribute to production cost reduction through optimized machining strategies and tooling selection.•Participate in capacity, investment, and equipment specification activities (tools, fixtures, gauges).4.Training & Knowledge Transfer•Create machining and process training materials.•Train production operators to strengthen technical skills and process understanding.5.Collaboration•Work effectively with cross functional departments and support a collaborative working culture.•Share best practices and lessons learned within the organization.
Job Requirements:

Job Qualifications Experience/Education requirementEducation&Experience•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.•Minimum 5 years of experience in machining or process engineering within a manufacturing environment.Proven experience in: •CNC machining operations (turning / mill turn preferred)•Reading and interpreting product and process drawings•Using standard measuring tools•Familiarity with Siemens 840D control system is a plus.Technical Skills•Solid understanding of manufacturing principles and machining processes.•Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts.•Product and process expertise in a regulated industrial environment.•Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirements.•Strong problem solving capabilities and structured analysis methods.Soft Skills•Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.•Results oriented mindset with attention to detail.•Leadership potential and decision making ability.•Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.•Effective interpersonal and influencing skills.Additional Requirements•Fluent written and spoken English.•Proficient in standard Microsoft Office tools.
