Roles and Responsibilities 

• Design and Development: Create innovative tooling and fixturing solutions using CAD software, working closely with process engineers to ensure seamless integration into manufacturing workflows.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed execution drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and specifications to support production and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Performance Assurance: Evaluate and resolve issues related to fixture functionality, durability, and production needs, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Material Selection: Choose the most suitable materials for fixture construction, balancing factors such as cost, strength, and machinability to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Cost Optimization: Participate in cost estimation for fixture projects, identifying opportunities to reduce expenses while maintaining exceptional quality and performance.
• Problem Solving: Apply analytical thinking and technical expertise to address challenges, propose solutions, and leverage internal resources with guidance from experienced team members.
• Lean Manufacturing: After training, implement lean manufacturing principles, such as SIX SIGMA, to enhance processes, drive efficiency, and train personnel on best practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to improvement and cost-reduction initiatives, helping us deliver on our commitment to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).

Required Qualifications

• Profound experience in fixture design or similar role within the manufacturing sector
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (2D and / or 3D).
• Knowledge of GT&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)  
• Strong understanding of CNC machining and other manufacturing processes
• Fluent in Romanian and communicative English.

• Proven ability to analyze and resolve problems.
