Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics F-16 Program as a Manufacturing Engineer Staff in Greenville, South Carolina!

This position is a Corrective Action Lead for the F-16 Manufacturing Engineering / Correction Action Team supporting F-16 Block 70 new build in Greenville, SC. In this role this person will be the key person for our Corrective Action effort that includes; Triage of vehicle level QARs, create ICAs, conduct Root Cause Analysis and develop Corrective Action Plans. This person will also partner with Quality Engineering to ensure Containment efforts and Quality Surveys are generated for Supplier escapes and repetitive actions. This person will support our F-16 Corrective Action Response Team and F-16 Corrective Action Board.

Basic Qualifications:
5 years minimum experience working Corrective Action Projects

• Documented Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action experience

• Project management experience

• Experience interpreting aircraft drawings, specifications and other engineering requirements following Quality Standards

• Bachelors Degree
Desired Skills:
9 years experience with STEM Bachelors degree from an accredited college, or 7 years experience with a Masters degree.
• ICA experience
• Aviation experience (Production and/or MMRO)
• Familiarity with mechanical engineering drawings and bill of materials
• Experience solving complex problems in an environment
where standardization sometimes does not exist
• Laser Tracker Operator experience
• Demonstrated experience collaborating across multidisciplinary product teams, that may or may not reside locally
•Experience communicating and leading change to drive consistency and process improvements across different organizations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, including briefing Sr leadership
• Demonstrated team facilitation skills and effective use of Lean Six-Sigma tools.
• Red X Experience (Apprentice or Journeyman)
• Experience with interpretation of Engineering specifications and the translation into effective Work Instructions.
• Understands financial impacts of decisions and actions relative to individual project work
• CATIA V5 or equivalent
• Knowledge of F-16 Tooling

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
