Entry Level MEs to support programs within Cables and Harness assemblies.

1. Candidate should be able to develop and implement Manufacturing Work instructions Plans (MWIss) for a variety of cables and harnesses.
2. Engineering change implementation and coordinating changes in the build process within cable and harness facility.
3. Performs in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes.
4. Drives adoption of new technologies and processes to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement.
5. Leverages understanding of materials and processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence.
6. Evaluates performance of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency.
7. Investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence.
8. Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
9. Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing operators to facilitate assembly performance.
10. Must have good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
11. Providing shop floor support
12. Foster customer relations, building rapport and confidence between Prod Ops, Program and Customer.
13. Providing guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
14. Contact with immediate supervisor, project leaders, and other personnel in the section or group.
15. Knowledge of Electro Static Discharge (ESD).
16. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings, bills of material, schematics and specs.
17. Ability to read and interpret schedules.

Basic Qualifications
1. Experience in a Manufacturing environment
2. Experienced with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project)
3. Knowledge of electro-mechanical, cable and harness, or industrial processes, technical writing, and teaming.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5. Change control, configuration management, process definition/management and data analysis.

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline from an accredited college. Entry level. This position will be located at a facility that requires program access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen
