THE WORK
Provides technical support to manufacturing engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Produces manufacturing build aides and visual assembly aides per manufacturing engineering guidance. Will be responsible for creating effective assembly instructions with 3D models.
The right candidate will be creating documents of manufacturing build process by taking pictures and identifying the order of assembly. You will be producing and completing manufacturing documentation and ensuring processes are in place within the appropriate time frame. You will be helping the Manufacturing Engineering department to advance the greater deployment of automation and robotics, Industrial Internet of Things, and data-driven operational excellence. You will be investigating and initiating corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.

Basic Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and parts lists and create manufacturing work instructions to meet all requirements.
- Experience in resolving engineering, planning, tooling, assembly, and fabrication problems.
- Ability to work closely with manufacturing engineering, manufacturing operators, test, quality assurance, and other operations support teams.
- Demonstrated capability to multitask in support of multiple concurrent programs and initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Microsoft Office suite experience with MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. CAD software experience: Creo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
- High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 3 Years or more of experience.
- This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

- Understanding of lean and six sigma principles
- Familiarity with Solumina (DIs, Routings)

- Familiarity with the ARCI program.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
