Materials Science Engineer
The Material Science Engineer is a high-energy and experienced Material Scientist, with hands-on, practical experience. This position will accelerate the technical and commercial traction of our core technologies and products. Help us with our mission to save lives, by designing next generation flexible fuel cells and technical composites.
What you’ll be doing as a Materials Science Engineer:
· Develop and execute trial plans.
· Create new products on our varied composites, textile, coating, foam, and additive manufacturing technologies.
· Work directly on 3D composites processing equipment and provide “hands on” support to manufacturing and process engineers.
· Analyze test data of newly created products and raw materials.
· Advance Technical Readiness and Manufacturing Readiness Levels.
· Document processing conditions. test results, and other critical-to-quality data.
· Conduct material characterizations for FEA modeling.
· Research new composites materials and novel processes.
· Create work instructions and SOP’s for Quality System.
