We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer, who is experienced in the aerospace industry. Experience with Cargo Aircraft is a plus. The ideal candidate should be proficient in SOLIDWORKS.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail components in support of quotations, orders, and manufacturing projects.
• Solve emerging issues, develop corrective actions, and implement solutions to enhance production efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure design specifications and shop capabilities align.
• Engage in non-mechanical design tasks, including software troubleshooting, vendor communication, and customer interaction.
• Lead manufacturing and productivity improvements, focusing on both immediate and strategic solutions.
• Work intensively with manufacturing teams to innovate and implement production processes for new products.
• Conduct pre- and post-reviews of projects to drive continuous improvements and cost reductions.

• Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of similar and recent work experience.
• Proficient in SOLIDWORKS, or equivalent program, with an expectation to pass a practical test during the hiring process.
• Experience with ERP systems is beneficial.
• Strong background in sheetmetal and weldment design.
• Familiar with various manufacturing processes and comfortable in a dynamic environment.
• Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design, or a related field is preferred.
