What are your contributions to the team?
• Change analysis and manufacturing impact statements for proposed engineering changes
• Change analysis and manufacturing impact statements for released engineering changes
• Attending change triage meetings, technical review boards, change boards, etc for pending engineering changes
• Coordinating with shop ME team to understand tooling impacts for changes
• Analyzes feasibility according to optimal methods by assessing the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production and developing written business case presentations
• Analyzes requirements and initiates tool design requests
• Initiates change documents required for implementation of change
• Participate and collaborate in a cross functional, matrixed environment
• Participate and/or present in team and executive meetings
• Develop and implement work arounds for the assembly line through work instructions and/or shop aides
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Monitors and maintains project status
How to thrive in this role?
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Methods, Manufacturing Engineering, or related area
• Must have working knowledge of Project Management principles
• Must have working knowledge of lean principles
• Must have working knowledge of basic quality management tools
• Must have working knowledge Microsoft Office Suite, including Power Point, Excel, SharePoint and Teams
• Must have ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications
ADDITIONAL DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Configuration analysis experience
• Catia or CAD software interrogation experience
• Structural assembly manufacturing background
• SAP Routing and BOM experience
