What are your contributions to the team?
- Change analysis and manufacturing impact statements for proposed engineering changes
- Change analysis and manufacturing impact statements for released engineering changes
- Attending change triage meetings, technical review boards, change boards, etc for pending engineering changes
- Coordinating with shop ME team to understand tooling impacts for changes
- Analyzes feasibility according to optimal methods by assessing the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production and developing written business case presentations
- Analyzes requirements and initiates tool design requests
- Initiates change documents required for implementation of change
- Participate and collaborate in a cross functional, matrixed environment
- Participate and/or present in team and executive meetings
- Develop and implement work arounds for the assembly line through work instructions and/or shop aides
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Monitors and maintains project status
How to thrive in this role?
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Methods, Manufacturing Engineering, or related area
- Must have working knowledge of Project Management principles
- Must have working knowledge of lean principles
- Must have working knowledge of basic quality management tools
- Must have working knowledge Microsoft Office Suite, including Power Point, Excel, SharePoint and Teams
- Must have ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications
ADDITIONAL DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Configuration analysis experience
- Catia or CAD software interrogation experience
- Structural assembly manufacturing background
- SAP Routing and BOM experience
