JMC Aviation are working with a MRO based In Cheshire, looking to recruit a new Mobile Borescope Engineer to join their team.
This is a Permanent Position based in Cheshire
40 hours per week, must be flexible with shift pattern due to the nature of the business

The Role
In the role of Borescope Engineer, you will play an important part in the continued development of the companys agile and dynamic mobile borescope inspection team travelling to locations primarily in EMEA, however as the scope of the business grows, this could expand to other regions.
Other duties involve
Carrying out depth Borescope inspections both On and Off Wing for a/c returning from lease
Formulation condition reports
Managing preparation and on-site customer communications
Liaising with OEM technical support to progress report content
Formulation and issue of Form 1 certificates on completion of each inspection
Management on rotation of the Maintrol activity hub ensuring all customer events are progressing to the correct standards
Ensures all maint & calibration requirements for all tooling & equipment
Partakes in an On call duty roster
Other duties as directed by Line Manager
Can operate for extended periods of time away from home/base whilst deployed in field
Skills and experience required
Proficient in the use of 3D Borescope equipment such as Mentor and iPlex systems
Have a good understanding of Engine compressor & turbine stages i.e. have previously completed front to back gas path inspections
Have produced BSI inspection condition reports
Have a good history of completing Borescope inspections in the field or at base maintenance locations (must be able to demonstrate this)
Preferably have at least 2 of the following engine type approvals (with certificates): - CFM56 Series, PW1100/1500/1900 and V2500
Be able to work freely in the UK and Europe (within current Schengen rules)
