Network Security Engineer M/F

Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Network Security Engineer M/F to join our Information Management Department based in Marignane, France.

As a Network Security Engineer you’ll join the Connectivity PSL (Product & Service Line), an international team in charge of designing, building and operating the network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wireless, Network Security, Internet Access, Load Balancing) of the company, worldwide.

• Security means configuration (Firewalls, Proxies, Wan Accelerators, VPN, SASE, ZTNA,..)

• Networking and IP Management (IPAM, monitoring tools, CMDB)

• Infrastructure, networking and security issues root cause analysis and remediation in a time critical environment

• Plan for future growth needs in advance

• Automate security configuration and management using Ansible and Git

• Writing of technical documentation of new and existing network designs, implementations, processes and tooling

• Support other applications or projects

• Experience as a Network Engineer implementing and operating enterprise level networking and security equipment

• Experience in network security is mandatory (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Stormshield, Proxies and Cisco ASA firewalls)

• Experience designing and building complex data center network with Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions such as Cisco ACI and Cisco SDA would be appreciated

• Knowledge of DevOps & CI/CD tech & tooling such as Git, Ansible, Terraform etc

• Strong ability to think creatively, to accept change and seek continuous improvement

• Good interpersonal skills, particularly in communication and contribution to team motivation and problem solving

• Ability to assess, evaluate and prioritize activities / topics particularly when under time pressure

Experience in German and / or Spanish would be a plus

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Some travels might be required for the position.
