Description:Capable of analyzing sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant production facilities, administrative processes, facility and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing mistake proofing techniques. Conduct studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, engineering time studies, and process cycle times. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for process and facility modifications and revisions to operating procedures. May assist facilities engineers in the planning, design, modification and layout of facilities and equipment. Responsible for successfully attaining Lockheed Martin Green Belt Certification within 18 months from date of hire. Possess future ability to lead multi-disciplined teams toward continuous improvement goals and objectives. Favorable knowledge of basic Lean Six Sigma principles and the impact to manufacturing environments. Possess good communication and presentation skills.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate, coordinate and work with employees from multiple functional areas and across all levels (exempt and non exempt).
Production and/or program management experience.
The ability to work OT and travel occasionally.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
