Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Manufacturing Engineer (ME) within the Planning functional organization. The Planning organization translates Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering requirements into a Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) and manufacturing work instructions. Planning ME’s support the creation of manufacturing work instructions, implementation of Engineering Change Notices, and management of the MBOM and type version effectivity to ensure alignment with Design and Manufacturing Engineering. Planning ME’s have an integral role in Lockheed Martin Aeronautics’ Digital Transformation using model-based engineering to drive the next generation Manufacturing Execution System.
A successful Planning ME candidate will:

Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related degree plan, e.g., Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering Technology, Product Design and Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering Technology, or Aeronautics Engineering Technology, Automation and Systems Integration Engineering Technology, Digital Enterprise Systems, and Systems Engineering.
• Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
• Member of the SME, SAE, ASME, or other similar technical organization
• Design, build club/project experience (i.e., SAE Formula and Baja)
• Familiarity with manufacturing and production operations processes
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts
• Coding and data analysis skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
