This position is on the F-35 Power and Thermal Management Systems (PTMS) team as a software engineer with a focus towards development of future software requirements, support of software testing, and software release to enable expanded system capability as well as maturing PTMS aircraft production and fleet failure detection, isolation, trending, and corrective action to support the growing F-35 fleet. Primary tasking would include answering of Action Requests (AR) from sustainment, generation of failure isolation modules to mitigate future AR’s, hardware part tracking to identify repeat returns or early detection of new failure modes, and tool creation to democratize data decoding and analysis through the rest of the team.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, equivalent experience/combined education considered
Basic controls, heat transfer, and thermodynamic understanding
Desired Skills:
Power and Thermal Management System experience
MATLAB/Simulink
F-35 software quality and safety processes
Supplier software integration
HW/SW Integration lab experience
Big Data Analysis
SPAR & Failure Mode Analysis
Digital Control Systems
Familiarity with engineering product databases (SIMS, Dimensions, PDM)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
