Power Electronics Design Engineer M/F

Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced Power Electronics Design Engineer to lead and contribute to the design, development, and validation of high-reliability Actuation Systems electronic products. The role involves end-to-end ownership of power electronic systems, from requirements definition through design, testing, and delivery, with strong hands-on involvement in hardware development and validation.
Key Responsibilities:
•tExperience in leading power electronic product design and development projects
•tGood knowledge on electronic product design and development process, from requirement till delivery.
•tStrong fundamentals in Semiconductor switches (MOSEFT, IGBT), Gate drivers, Passive components, ADC/DAC, Filters, connectors, PCBs, Parasitic and magnetic components
•tFundamentals of electronics components, analog and digital circuits
•tHands on experience with any one of the Power converter design and analysis (AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC, AC-AC).
•tGood understanding of Sensors(Position, temperature, Gyro Sensor, RTD, Current sensor, Resolver, Motor Encoder etc), Solenoids, BLDC/PMSM motors, RL/Electronic loads & Dynamometers etc.
•tHands on experience Signal conditioning, OP Amp, Filters , ADC front end
•tHands on experience Schematics update using Mentor graphics and PCB design / Layout review
•tHands on experience with Power estimations, thermal management solutions and their implications on EMI/EMC (DO-160, MIL- STD-461/704)
•tExperience in serial protocol such as CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, etc.
•tExpert in using lab test equipment such as DMM, oscilloscope, data logger
•tHands on with writing test plans, procedures and reports
•tBoard bring up, design verification test (DVT).
•tMotor controller development using high performance microcontrollers/FPGA is preferred
•tGood Communication, document writing and Presentation skills

Job Requirements:

Experience and Skills:
•\tBachelor's degree in Electronics, Electricals, instrumentation, communications and 5 to 6 years of relevant experience OR
•\tAdvance degree and 5 to 6 years of relevant experience
•\tExperience in aerospace or a similar safety critical industry would be an advantage.
•\tElectronic Engineering hardware design skills, with ability in complex analysis.
•\tUnderstanding of motor drive systems and controllers
•\tUndertake tasks with minimum supervision or guidance.
•\tWork consistently to Safran Actuation procedures and best practices.
•\tSelf-motivated, with a proactive approach, team spirit, high energy level and a positive outlook.
