C4ISR is looking for a proven and experienced technical leader to serve as the Engineering Project Manager for the AIR6500 program in LM Australia. This position will be a 2 year EXPAT position based in Adelaide, South Australia. AIR6500 is a >$1B Joint Air Battle Management System (JABMS) program.

The EPM will partner with the AIR6500 Chief Engineer, Chief Architect, and SEI&T Lead responsible for the technical integrity of the AIR6500 program and inter-IPT communication and collaboration for technical matters.

The AIR6500 EPM will be responsible for the following:
- Be a member of PIT and primary E&T interface with Program Office/Customer for all programmatic items
- Be accountable for overall E&T technical, cost, and schedule performance on a specific program
- Provide technical oversight and direction for all technical IPTs (SEIT, SI&T IPT, Product IPTs, …)
- Ensure E&T functional stakeholder engagement in program oversight and cost estimating review/approvals
- Monitor program performance including earned value management and technical progress measures
- Ensure technical and programmatic risks and dependencies are identified, managed and appropriately elevated
- Ensure technical integrity of program products
- Ensure requirements baseline is documented, tracked, maintained, and verified
- Ensure establishment and tracking of key Technical Performance Measures (TPM)
- Track maturity of technical baseline and management of technical debt
- Ensure adherence to adequate and appropriately adapted E&T processes
- Provide timely and accurate resource requirements (people/skills, tools, infrastructure, …) to IE leads in concert with engineering technical discipline leads
- Work with functional stakeholders to identify program team staffing
- Provide E&T program team recognition and stakeholder performance feedback
- Support mentoring and career development of program technical team
- Proactively communicate with all stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:
• Previous experience with leading and managing a international development program.
• Previous experience leading a large domestic development program through the engineering life cycle.
• Prior experience as an Engineering Project Manager.
• Prior experience as an IPT Lead.
• Prior experience as a functional leader.
• Prior experience as a Cost Account Manager.
• Previous experience working/collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to provide clear guidance and direction to team and prioritizing competing requirements.
• Prior experience with application and implementation of Digital Transformation processes and tools.
• Prior experience working in an agile environment and prior experience with Digital Transformation initiatives.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to communicate well with peers and different levels of leadership, including executive leadership.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally.
• Demonstrated experience in motivating, inspiring, and teaching others to accomplish program objectives.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $146,800 - $281,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $168,800 - $318,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
