Youll conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle from analog and digital electronic circuit card assemblies to fully integrated systems.The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.
Must-haves:
- Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline and typically 14 or more years of relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Thorough understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Basic understanding of digital circuit concepts
- Extensive experience with FPGA HDL development, simulation and analysis, utilizing the VHDL language
- Average to Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Visio)
Preferred:
- Proficiency with simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA), circuit modeling, simulation, and analysis
- Familiarity with design requirements related to High Intensity Radiated Field (HIRF) and Indirect Effects of Lightning (IEL)
- Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, to include, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processes
- Understanding of Electro Magnetic Effects (EME) to include, Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI)
- Experience in digital or analog circuit design and schematic capture
- Understanding of the printed circuit board layout process and tools
- Experience with source code management systems
- Experience with Linux Operating System and shell script development

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $159,430.15 - $219,216.46. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
