Test Engineer - GMD Weapon System

Onsite in Huntsville, AL

Minimum Starting Salary: $90,000/Year

Actual salary is based on experience and quallifications.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule, execute, and monitor testing for the Ground Systems Segment (GSS) Integrated Product Team (IPT).

• Develop and implement test plans, integration plans, and procedures for system-level integration.

• Track and report on test progress, quality status, and results, adapting the test approach based on evolving conditions.

• Analyze test outcomes against technical requirements and guidance, adjusting test criteria and documentation accordingly.

• Utilize tools such as Eggplant, Gitlab, and Bitbucket to support test automation and version control.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with software, systems, and integration teams to support test readiness and execution.

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
• Active Secret Clearance required to start

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM-related field

• 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s, 3+ years with a Master’s, or 1+ years with a PhD

• Proven experience in:

  • System-level test planning and execution

  • C++ development

  • Python and scripting languages

  • Test criteria development based on technical requirements

  • Eggplant automation tools

  • Gitlab or Bitbucket version control systems

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance

  • Security+ Certification

  • Prior experience with:

    • Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD)

    • Missile Defense Systems

    • Cameo modeling tool

    • Java development

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10
