Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking an Electronics Integration and Test Engineer (Lab Lead) to support our growing engineering team in advanced technology development programs at our Beavercreek, OH site. (Dayton, OH)
This position can be filled as a Principal Integration and Test Engineer or Sr. Principal Integration and Test Engineer
What Youll Do:
Test and evaluation of custom subsystems utilizing oscilloscopes, VNAs, and spectrum analyzers
Soldering and rework of SMT devices
CCA test and repair
Hand assembly and test of custom chassis
Documentation of test plans
Test equipment automation using Python
Lab Management (coordinate equipment calibration, Shipping/Receiving, Manage lab ESD system)
Basic Qualifications for Principal Engineer - Integration and Test:
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience; or a PhD with 0 years
Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and rework of electronic hardware.
Experience utilizing diagnostic equipment, including oscilloscope and signal generators.
Experience with implementation of lab operations (processes and procedures)
U.S. Citizen
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary US Government security clearance per customers’ requirements.
Basic Qualifications for Principal Engineer - Integration and Test:
Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience; or a PhD with 4 years
Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and rework of electronic hardware.
Experience utilizing diagnostic equipment, including oscilloscope and signal generators.
Experience with implementation of lab operations (processes and procedures)
U.S. Citizen
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary US Government security clearance per customers’ requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
RF Test experience
Experience with Component-level troubleshooting
Prior lab management experience
Active security clearance
Python test scripting and equipment automation
Primary Level Salary Range: $82,900.00 - $124,300.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $103,200.00 - $154,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
