* Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) and typically 5 or more years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD, Master’s degree + 3 years of related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

* Current or previous delivery center work experience.
* Experience with flight squawk resolution processes.
* In-depth knowledge of systems and functional test troubleshooting.
* Capable of communicating with customers and leading technical discussions.
* Familiarity with AFRS.
* Knowledge of drawing change processes (EQC, ELR, MCC, RR, MR, PRR). Job Duties & Functions
* Assess and resolve product and process issues across the product lifecycle.
* Conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for design nonconformances.
* Research technical, operational, and quality issues and develop interim and final engineering solutions.
* Identify, document, and analyze reported problems and communicate deviations impacting design intent and safety.
* Develop and implement product and process improvements.
* Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and participate in design reviews.
* Represent engineering in build through post-production environments.
* Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with engineering standards.
* Develop customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance.
* Participate in on-site repair teams and accident investigation support.
* Analyze damage repair or structural modification and determine appropriate jacking and shoring.
* Design interim structural repairs and conduct static strength analysis.
* Develop non-destructive test procedures, tools, and standards. Physical Requirements & Environment
