The Boeing Company seeks a Product Security Test Engineer to support the Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) cyber test capability and join their team in Seattle, WA.
In addition to specific program responsibilities, the successful candidate will be joining the growing BT&E Product Security Engineering Capability. They will be joining a team of advanced Product Security Engineers from across the Boeing Enterprise, collaboratively developing best practices, techniques and tools, while fostering a community that enhances our ability to deliver exceptional value to our customers.
BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior level Product Security Engineers.
Position Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the planning and development of cyber test events for avionics systems.
- Leverage software and/or systems engineering experience to build new testing tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of testing objectives and requirements.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements and risk mitigation
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 3+ years of experience with avionics systems and aerospace systems
- Experience with Vulnerability assessment and/or Penetration test
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience with avionics.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience with flight deck avionics and/or aircraft communication/navigation systems.
- Experience in developing and executing test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Experience with embedded systems
- Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as spanet and business considerations.
Summary pay range for experienced level: $119,850 – $162,150
Summary pay range for senior level: $146,200 - $197,800
