Join a Legacy of Aerospace ExcellencePDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced and driven Product Support Engineer to join a high-impact aerospace project in Tukwila, WA. In this full-time, 6-month consulting role, you’ll play a pivotal role in the long-term reliability and sustainability of mission-critical aircraft systems—possibly including VC-25B, the next-generation Air Force One. This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
What You’ll Be Doing – Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Product Support Engineer, your day-to-day will focus on ensuring supportability and airworthiness across aerospace platforms. You’ll apply advanced engineering techniques to support maintenance planning and product performance throughout its lifecycle.
Your primary tasks will include:
Performing MSG-3 Analysis to develop scheduled maintenance requirements
Leading the creation of key support documents:
Maintenance Review Board Report (MRBR)
Maintenance Planning Document (MPD)
Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM)
Structural Repair Manual (SRM)
SSID/SSIP Documentation
Participating in Industry Steering Committee (ISC) and Working Group meetings
Analyzing engineering and in-service data to drive supportability and maintainability solutions
Evaluating customer maintenance operations and offering optimized repair strategies
Supporting the integration of maintenance infrastructure and ongoing airworthiness
Assisting with regulatory and safety compliance in design modifications and service solutions
Coordinating with stakeholders on proposal development and lifecycle planning

What You BringRequired Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical field
Demonstrated experience performing MSG-3 Analysis
Strong background in developing maintenance and repair documentation (MRBR, MPD, AMM, etc.)
Familiarity with airworthiness, regulatory compliance, and aircraft systems support
Excellent analytical, communication, and customer-facing skills
Preferred Experience:
Experience working with VC-25B or other high-profile aircraft programs
Participation in ISC or Working Group forums
Knowledge of reliability data analysis, supportability planning, and technical publication standards
Experience evaluating customer operations to design efficient maintenance solutions

Pay Details: $51.62 to $64.65 per hour
