Professional, Engineering – UAS Project engineering - Research and Technology

In your role, you will

Collaborate in the development of an assigned strategic technology project involving Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)
Support planning of design activities from concept to entry into service of clean sheet aircraft
Support problem-solving for all program and engineering disciplines
Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams
Liaise with partners, collaborators and suppliers
Provide governance and management updates
Develop Engineering Statement of Works, schedules and engineering estimates
Lead Engineering discussion, meetings and reviews across internal teams as well as partners and suppliers
Lead closure of phases for engineering and tracking of deliverables
Manage engineering headcounts for large project

As our ideal candidate

You have a bachelor’s degree engineering.
You have 5-8 years of experience in aerospace industry
Project engineering experience is an asset
You are autonomous, result-driven and enthusiastic with strong work ethics.
You have good analytical and problem-solving skills.
You can manage multiple projects and tasks
You have strong communication skills and can easily tailor your communication to suit the audience. You strive for harmonious cohesive teamwork.
You have knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint or Sharepoint.
Knowledge of Siemens Suite (ex. Teamcenter) is an asset
