Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Full-time Early Career Project Engineer. In this role, you will support C-130, C-5, and P-3 aircraft platforms by supporting proposals and production and sustainment contracts. This position will take direction from a team lead who will serve as the primary technical lead. The project engineer role provides exposure to many technical disciplines, and this position is meant to help an employee determine which discipline they will transition into after the first year.

Project Engineer responsibilities include the following:
- Manage a portfolio of effort consisting of complex system/technical development from concept, through design, implementation, test, manufacturing/deployment, sustainment and modifications.
- Ensure alignment with Engineering and Technology strategy, technical feasibility, and manages technical risk.
- Drive planning and execution across all Engineering Teams to meet contract cost, schedule, and technical requirements and satisfy customer needs.
- Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Systems, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- Willing to travel
- Familiar with project management tools
- High proficiency of Microsoft Office applications

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
