Description:Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in seeking a full-time Senior Project Engineer for the F-35 Program in Fort Worth, Texas. Our team is responsible for F-35 Airframe Structure Design. The F-35 Team is delivering cutting edge capabilities to a growing number of domestic and international customers, with the Airframe Team responsible for the engineering definition to support all Production, Retrofit, Upgrades and Repairs. With over 990 aircraft delivered to 17 Allies and Partners, the sun never sets on the F-35 Program.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Senior Project Engineer for F-35 you will be responsible for developing, reviewing, submitting, and obtaining approval of complex Non-Recurring Engineering estimates. Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing program requirements
• Coordinating, and preparing Engineering basis of estimates (BOE) and supporting internal proposal reviews and customer negotiations.
• Extensive coordination with the Program, functional Engineering and Manufacturing organizations.
• Overall estimate coordination; developing comparative analyses
• Presenting estimate data to management
• Providing consultation to management regarding estimating issues
• Interfacing with the DCMA, and DCAA; and performing Cost Account Manager tasks.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree or higher in an engineering degree
• Project Management or Project Engineering experience
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, including Access, Excel and Project
Desired Skills:
• Configuration Management experience
• Familiarity or experience with FAR, Part 15 (TINA) compliant proposal requirements
• Functional estimating experience in engineering, materials, operations, and/or Sustainment
• Experience using proposal pricing systems or BOE tools such as, PROPRICER, APTS, or BOE
other tool usage
• Experience with PDM, Catia, VAS
• Experience with Engineering Bill of Material (EBOM) product structure
• Experience in Tableau
• Proven communication and leadership skill
• Experience in Earned Value Management

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
