The Project Engineer reports to Director of Engineering and will work with the Engineering and Design teams and liaise with staff from rest of internal departments. The Project Engineer will also interact with customers and suppliers. The position is located in ADS headquarter (Mississauga) office.Key Responsibilities Provide Project Engineering leadership to oversee multiple projects involving changes to the basic aircraft, options, and in-service requests. Take full accountability for achieving approved program and project objectives, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, and regulatory compliance.Develop, execute, and maintain detailed program and project plans aligned with approved objectives.Establish and control project budgets using cost management tools; monitor financial performance and forecasts.Identify, assess, mitigate, and escalate risks impacting scope, schedule, cost, quality, or compliance.Manage integrated change processes and ensure milestones are met within committed schedules and budgets.Coordinate and support technical (PDR, CDR) and Management reviewsMaintain and update project data tracking tools and reporting systems.Monitor/manage manpower allocation and scheduling across departments for ongoing aircraft modifications.Liaise with third-party delegates and suppliers to support project execution.Monitor/Track Engineering Requests to address installation challenges and deviations.Manage and develop strong functional internal relationshipsResponsible for creation and on-going review of Estimates vs Actuals along with capacity planning for Projects in conjunction with Company Management until Project completion.Support Governance requirements and ongoing update of systems to ensure Project details are current and clear.Participate in intra-company coordination supporting the efficient execution of work activities.Manage planning department Implement and maintain effective communication framework to keep stakeholders informed.Monitor and report on program performance, risks, contingencies, and corrective actions.Drive timely decision-making through appropriate governance forums and regular progress reporting.Apply project management best practices to manage internal and external deliverables to high-quality standards.Ensure adherence to professional standards, company processes, and regulatory requirements.Represent the organization professionally and courteously in all internal and external communications.QualificationsDegree in Engineering, Aerospace, Business, Project Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. PMP certification is an asset.Proven experience in Project & Change Management with minimum of 8 Years of experience, within a multi-function organizational environment.Previous experience in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.Project Management experience in an aircraft modification environment is considered an asset.SkillsStrong leadership, collaboration, and cross-functional coordination skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Solid negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.Calm and controlled under pressure, with a strong focus on metrics, outcomes, and delivery.Critical thinker able to navigate complex, technical, and ambiguous situations.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Proficiency with project management tools.Ability to work as part of a team or individuallyCandidate must be self-motivated, autonomous and enthusiastic, possess excellent written and verbal communications and human relations skills and be willing to travel.
