Project Engineer
27.75 - 37.12 per hour
Morson are currently supporting the recruitment of a Project Engineer to work within an Aerospace Production facility. This is a great opportunity to work within a specialised Aerospace engineering function supporting the ramp up at one of the largest plants in Europe. We’re looking for a Project Engineer with experience within Aerospace, Production and Manufacturing. We can also consider Jigs and Tooling Engineers within a Project environment.
The role is being offered on a 12-month basis, full time on site in Broughton. We can pay a rate of 27.75 per hour PAYE or 37.12 per hour Umbrella inside IR35.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure successful industrialization of SA Jigs and Tools Requests and supporting Projects until final acceptance and handover.
- Specify the requested Jigs and Tools assets according to requirements.
- Integrate mature industrial technologies.
- Collaborate with R&D to integrate requirements.
- Contribute to CDT MFT for production investigations utilising tooling and metrology skillset.
- Interpretation of aircraft design model and relay into operations and operational support.
Requirements:
- Jigs and tooling experience, ideally within aviation.
- Working knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering processes.
- Strong project management experience in an engineering environment.
- Ability to operate from first principles in manufacturing disciplines and activities.
- Knowledge of aircraft production, engineering methods and procedures.
- Understanding of relationships with Manufacturing Engineering and Business functions.
- Experience in a manufacturing and engineering environment required.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management.
Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance
