Our team is looking for an Aerospace Quality Engineer to join them.
You will report to the Quality Manager and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, North Carolina.
To be considered for the Aerospace Quality Engineer opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field
Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in aerospace quality engineering or a related field
Strong understanding of AS9100 aerospace quality standards and FAA regulations
Experience with ISO 9001 and other quality management systems
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
Working knowledge of continuous improvement principles and practices
Experience with problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5-Why, A3, and Ishikawa
Knowledge of data analysis software and statistical tools
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to continuous improvement
As an Aerospace Quality Engineer, you will:
Develop and implement quality standards for aerospace products and processes
Create and maintain quality procedures and work instructions
Ensure compliance with AS9100, FAA, and other applicable standards and regulations
Conduct inspections and audits of aerospace products and processes
Investigate and resolve quality issues, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions
Manage the customer complaint/Return Material Authorization (RMA) process
Collaborate cross-functionally to support compliance, safety, and regulatory requirements
Monitor and improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS)
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in aerospace quality

Salary Range: $85,000 – $100,000 per year, based on experience
