I3 R&V Systems Engineer - Mid

As a Mid-level Systems Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics, your responsibilities are:
- Define high-level functional and performance requirements and associated verification methods.
- Perform systems analysis, decomposition, and derivation of lower-level requirements.
- Develop and allocate lower-level requirements to physical and functional architectural elements, track them through design, verification, integration, and operational validation.
- Develop interface requirements and verification methods based on system interoperability and performance requirements.
- Lead and support requirements and verification working groups
- Support Interface Control Working Groups with the customer and components
- Support element level technical reviews
- Develop risks, issues, and opportunities related to R&V activities
- Support resolution of cross-functional technical issues

Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master +3 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with system design in areas of system interfaces engineering environments.
- Experience leading and applying systems engineering processes and principles.
- Knowledge of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systems. The ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and sustainment.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.
This position requires clearing a background check and an enhanced Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI) requirements as a condition for employment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in DOORs, Cameo, and SysML.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering
- Experience with requirements and verification/validation within Systems Engineering
- Experience with or on, the GMD program, working with the Missile Defense Agency
