What you’ll do:
As an RF/Microwave engineer within SSL you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team researching and developing advanced technologies for Electronic Warfare, Radar, Sensing and Communications systems. Your responsibilities will include developing advanced RF system concepts, designing and simulating RF systems, building prototypes and performing both lab and field testing. You will work with leading experts in digital signal processing, advanced processing hardware, photonic systems and RF machine learning to create solutions to the DoD’s toughest RF spectrum challenges.

Basic Qualifications:
• B.S. from an accredited university (M.S. preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related field
• Coursework or experience in Electromagnetic theory
• At least 2 years of experience in the design and test of RF/Microwave systems or related analog systems
• Experience with electrical test and measurement equipment
• A strong interest in research and advanced technology development
• Ability to obtain a security clearance to at least the Secret level (TS Preferred)
Desired Skills:
• Experience with simulating RF and electrical systems in tools such as Keysight ADS, FEKO, PSPICE or others
• Experience with test equipment automation, especially in Python or other software languages
• Experience troubleshooting RF systems in the field
• Experience or interest in antenna design, simulation and testing
• Experience or interest in rapid prototyping of RF systems using block components or the X-Microwave prototyping systems
• Experience or interest in antenna array processing

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
