You will be part of Avio Aero Repair and Technical Publication team within the Services Technology organization reporting to the Sub Section Manager of the Commercial Repair and Technical Publication Office located in Brindisi.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Develop Repairs for Commercial Engines, Modules and Components, to achieve the objectives of maintenance cost, performance and life
Identify and develop new repair technologies and creative application of existing to address business needs
Define substantiation strategy and lead horizontal teams to execute the development plan for new repairs
Proactively anticipates Customer Repair needs and leverage existing technologies to avoid disruption in Customer and MR&O activities
Provide periodic updates to Customers and Internal Stakeholders about Repair needs and activities
Define and monitor Customer and fleet needs for Technical Publication update and delivery
Support MRO/CRO shops in improving maintenance costs and TAT and in the solution of technical problems deriving from the repair processes and technologies
Qualification/Requirements
Master’s degree in mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
Previous experience in Repair Engineering
Sense of ownership, attitude for collaboration, proactivity
Good technical skills
Good interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
Clear thinking and diligent approach
Fluent both Italian and English
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
Desired Characteristics
Curiosity and passion for in service aviation engines
Passion for mechanical design
Good materials and special processes knowledge
Previous experience in Aerospace Design
CAD tools knowledge
