* High School Diploma required; Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical aircraft wiring, electrical systems, or related support.
* Ability to read and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
* Ability to solder to J-STD standards and crimp/assemble connector contacts and cable assemblies to aircraft standards.
* Familiarity with serial data interfaces including ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, RS422, RS232, Ethernet, and IEEE-488.
* Experience installing fiber optic cabling for reflective memory hardware.
* Ability to use hand tools and shop equipment safely, including hand drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, and soldering tools.
* Good oral and written communication skills.
* U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to obtain a clearance if needed. Professional Attributes

* Military experience in aircraft or systems maintenance and support.
* Experience with ESD and FOD practices. Job Duties & Functions
* Fabricate interconnecting cables and harnesses according to engineering drawings.
* Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of test bench and lab infrastructure equipment.
* Read and interpret aircraft-level wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings for assemblies.
* Wire and test serial data interfaces and fiber optic connections.
* Use appropriate hand tools and shop equipment safely and efficiently.
* Follow all safety, quality, ESD, and FOD protocols.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule. Physical Requirements & Environment
* Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in confined areas for extended periods.
* On-site work required at Bell Textron Plant 6.
