Bepart of the Integrated Supply Chain Engineering team that applies its expertiseand knowledge to develop, implement and maintain methods and processes in themanufacture and fabrication of Aerospace Wheel & Brakes.  You will be assigned as the primary processowner for the Wheel & Brake Surface Enhancement & Chemical processingcell, as well as providing engineering support to the Wheel Machining cells.   As the process owner of the specialpost-machining processing cells, you will become the subject matter expert toconduct process audits, provide hands-on production floor technical support,solving poor product yield, reducing scrap, and conducting dispositions ofproduct non-conformances.   You will addvalue to the business by becoming the Source Certifying Agent (SCA)representing the site during NADCAP and Honeywell network audits for the Shot Peen and Anodize process,along with introducing process control requirements, process improvements, andthe identification and execution of productivity/yield improvementopportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various cross-functional teams
  • Prepare or update reports and documentation
  • Process definition and driving technical solutions that meet sustainability objectives
  • Issue identification and resolution through cause chain analysis
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement
  • Product dispositions of non-conforming hardware
  • Training and qualifying operators
  • Process Audit focal

YOUMUST HAVE

  • Associates degree in Engineering
  • 5+ years of Process manufacturing experience
  • Aerospace/automotive or other regulated industry experience
  • AS9100 Audit Experience
  • Due to contractual requirements must be US Citizen

WEVALUE

  • NADCAP Knowledge
  • NADCAP audit experience
  • Technical knowledge of NADCAP certified Chemical Processes and Surface Enhancement Processes
  • Greenbelt certified or knowledge of Six Sigma tools
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
  • Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done
  • Manufacturing and/or Design experience
  • Quality and Auditing experience
  • Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work
  • Proficient project management skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Root Cause and Corrective Action experience
  • PCPX familiarity
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Experienced with Manufacturing Execution Systems
  • Experienced with dispositioning of non-conforming material review
