A Job Position for an experienced ELECTRICAL SYSTEM INSTALLATION DESIGN ENGINEER, is open for electrical system installation design department (Spanish perimeter for Eurodrone, FCAS, Eurofighter, A400M, Other UAS and Legacy Combat A/C).

The Position will be integrated in the multidisciplinary team of Electrical System Installation Design and will be linked to multinational programs.
The Candidate should have knowledge in the Electrical and/ or Electromechanical Design fields (i.e. Diagrams, Harnesses, Electrical Boxes, Electromechanical Installations, bracketry etc.).
Mastering CATIA V5 and PDM tools is a must, as a prerrequisite to perform designs in future toolset with CATIA V6 (3DX). Some background on Electrical Diagrams Tools (See-XP, Capital Logic etc.) is welcommed.
Also, due to the high amount of stakeholders interfacing with Electrical Design activities (Systems Analysis Departments, Configuration, Structural Design, Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, Standardization, In Service Support etc.) and the international Program set up, it is also required the ability to communicate and work in a team collaborative environment, among other soft skills (self-organized etc.).
The tasks will be focused in developing designs and managing related technical activities, to provide the required deliverables during the diferent Program phases, such as for example:
- In the early phases of projects, mainly conceptual design activities need to be performed (Inboard Profile definition), Space Allocation Mock Up (SAM), generation of Systems/ Wirings Layouts and Electromechanical Interfaces, together with requirements management, generation of Design Principles, etc.
- In the Definition phase, designs need to be matured, starting with the Wiring interconnection Diagrams, and ending with the Electrical harnesses, Supports/ Bracketry and Electromechanical Installations detailed design and definition dossier generation for Manufacturing and Assembly.
- In the subsequent phases, it would be required to provide Engineering support during the Production/ Assembly and In Service Phases, and to provide approval of concessions, repairs and modifications to Design.
The Candidate should have knowledge in Electrical and/ or Electromechanical design, including CATIA V5 knowledge (desirable CATIA V6/3DX).
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Educated in an Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in Engineering, in a Design/Airframe discipline.
- Knowledge in Electrical and/ or Electromechanical design, including CATIA V5 knowledge (desirable CATIA V6/3DX).
- High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a network mode
- Advanced level in English. and Spanish
- German or French would be an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to propose new ideas.
