The Lockheed Martin Artificial Intelligence Center (LAIC) is seeking a high energy team member with a strong working knowledge in Full Stack development to support the AI Consulting team. In this role you will be part of the AI Foundations team consisting of colleagues possessing varying skill sets including AI/Machine Learning specialists, front-end and back-end developers, data engineers, product managers, and data scientists. The selected candidate will focus on the AI Consulting team, but will be included as part of a broader range of projects across the LAIC portfolio. The team is focused on exploiting small, innovative, and agile teams to rapidly iterate and mature solutions from prototypes to deployment for utilization across the Lockheed Martin enterprise. Responsibilities of this role include:

- Full life-cycle development, testing, and deployment of small scale and/or enterprise-wide applications while incorporating agile and DevOps methodologies and concepts

- Working in a multi-disciplinary team and mentoring as needed

- Working with product owners and customers to understand the relevant use cases
Basic Qualifications:
- Proficiency with languages/tools such as SQL, Python, R, shell scripting and command line
- Proficiency with one or more of the following: container technologies, REST APIs, version control systems (ex. Git, GitHub, BitBucket), and data visualization tools
- Proficiency with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure or other cloud experience
- Proficiency in Front-End/Web App development and related scripting languages and libraries, such as JavaScript, Node, React
- Configuration and deployment of applications
using Docker/Kubernetes/Openshift or other container management systems
- Experience with structured and unstructured
data storages and processing frameworks, relational and/or unconventional databases (e.g graph databases)
DevOps/DevSecOps
- Familiarity with AI/ML and MLOPs
Desired Skills:
- Experience or knowledge of best practices
within UI/UX
- Experience with agile software development,
design, architecture, integration and validation
- Proficient with Ansible/Terraform/Packer
automation which is part of the Infrastructure as
Code (IaC) best practices
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation in
identifying valuable ways of incorporating
analytic technologies into business workflows,
processes and customer applications
- Superlative collaboration and interpersonal
skills with self-starter and mentoring attitude
- Full understanding of and experience with

- Strong technical leadership skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $98,800 - $186,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $85,900 - $164,600 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
