Boeing Brazil is seeking Senior Hydraulic Systems Engineer, reporting to the Hydraulic Systems Engineering Manager, working out of the São José dos Campos office. The Senior Hydraulic Systems Engineer will join the Hydraulic Systems team supporting development and sustaining programs.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop system requirements and define system architecture.
Develop or review hardware and software designs and associated interface specifications.
Ownership of component level design requirements.
Analyze system performance through modeling and simulation.
Support the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups.
Perform and document analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
Perform detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations.
Develop, verify, validate, and certify designs through both laboratory and airplane testing.
Research and development of technologies for potential future applications.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
- Must have a degree in Engineering.
- Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
- Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.
- Experience with installations design and release for mechanical systems.
- Experience with 3D modeling software and product data management software (CATIA, PDM or similar)
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
- Experience on Mechanical-Hydraulic Systems Experience in aviation
- Experience working with integrated cross-functional teams Project management skills.
- Experience working in engineering product development.
