Position Summary
The ideal candidate is highly motivated individual with a vast knowledge of the Aircraft Electrical Power Systems, Special Mission Systems, Aircraft Communications, Navigation Systems, Electronic Warfare (EW), Aerial (ground & maritime) surveillance and Self-protection Systems (SPS).
Main Responsibilities

- Analyze technical requirements and provide conceptual solutions options in conjunction with systems, mechanical stress, production, and architect teams
- Define Electrical deliverable to fit project requirement
- Create electrical block diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams and support subassembly and assembly drawings as per:
- Aviation industry standards
- Systems requirements compliant with the systems supplier documentation, external and internal customers’ requirements, airworthiness requirements
- Project schedule milestones
- Design quality required
- Act as design checker on his discipline
- Act as Electrical design leader and perform project as per various road maps
- Provide support to manufacturing and Installation team (Design change and concession)
- Participate and/or witness test and prepare the corresponding reports as required
- Support SCM to determine make or buy strategy to execute the project
- During quotation phase, support architect/bidding team for technical feasibility studies, secure scope definition, hours and associated assumptions
- Supported by Electrical Director, define team setup to secure the project execution
- Lead Engineering defence projects and act as a focal point with our partners
Familiar with
- Industry standards SAE-AS-50881, SAE-ARP-4754, RTCA-DO-160, DO-313
- Acceptable Methods, Techniques and Practices per AC 43.13-1B
- Aircraft electrical power generation and distribution systems design
- Aircraft Electrical Load Analysis
- Familiar with Special Missions, Government, or Military Aircraft maintenance, modifications design or systems integration
- Data bus wiring designs and data protocols
- Integrated Avionics and Flight Deck Systems
- Aircraft radio and audio communication systems design
- Electrical grounding and bonding requirements and techniques
- EMI/EMC analysis
- Aircraft electrical wiring and electrical hardware
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Avionics or Electrical Engineering from an accredited University
- Minimum of 10 years of working experience in relevant aerospace engineering
- Experience in Avionics and Electrical Power System development, integration and testing/troubleshooting
- Experience with FAA (14 CFR Part 25 Subpart F and H) or EASA (CS-25) compliance and certification
- Experience with requirements development, validation and verification process.
- Experience with support of internal and external organizations customers in the design process from initial phase to aircraft delivery
- Experience with Electrical AutoCAD and MS Office computer programs
- Comfortable to work in a stressful and highly demanding environment and ability to multi-task. Ability to solve new problems in a fast-paced environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
