Description:As a Project Manager Sr. for the FBM Weapons System Infrastructure & Capabilities (WSIC) team, you’ll work on a broad range of projects to find innovative solutions to lead team members in solving complex problems as we position the program for sustained success for decades to come. The MILCONs and Strategic Projects team is looking for motivated individuals to help activate upcoming MILCON projects supporting the future of the FBM D5 missile development, production, sustainment, and next generation missile programs.

As a Project Engineer Sr, you will:
•Support the MILCONs and Strategic Projects team in planning and execution of military construction projects across multiple program sites.

•Leading facility projects with cost, technical, and schedule authority.

•Generating, identifying, and analyzing technical requirements and ability to translate to design.

•Exercising technical authority for the design, planning, organizing, control, integration, and completion of Weapons System Infrastructure & Capabilities projects to include major facility modifications, construction projects, Class III support equipment projects, and facility systems engineering projects in support of the Trident II missile program.

•Developing and reviewing engineering data packages; requirement documents, drawings, specifications, testing & acceptance criteria/procedures, and cost estimates.

•Planning and formulating engineering program reviews, product design for compliance with engineering principles and Lockheed Martin standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.

•Evaluating and approving proposal inquiries, design changes, specification documents and drawing releases.

•Coordinating and participating in activities concerned with technical development, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

•Collaborating closely with internal and external customers and partners on the planning of activities to ensure production needs are addressed with minimum schedule impacts.

Basic Qualifications:
•Project Management and/or Construction Management experience in commercial, industrial, government, military, or DoD facilities.

•Experience generating and analyzing technical requirements and ability to translate to design

•Ability to obtain a Secret clearance (US citizenship required-cant be dual citizen)
Desired Skills:
•Familiarity with the MILCON process.

•Experience preparing/reviewing the following facility engineering products: Statements of Work, Specification documents, and construction cost estimate.

•Experience in the formulation of proposals and bases of estimate (BOE).

•Experience on a missile related defense program, working directly with customer counterparts to resolve technical issues.

•Experience with leading multi-disciplined Integrated Project Teams (IPTs)

•Experience integrating systems or equipment into existing process or space.

•Experience in briefing and interfacing with senior level management and customers

•Experience in the execution of engineering projects from start to finish.

•Demonstrated ability to coordinate/resolve technical issues across multiple teams/customers.

•Exceptional self-motivated leader with outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities. Adept at collaborating with senior leadership across various levels with minimal supervision.

•Excellent computer utilization skills (AutoCAD, REVIT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

•General knowledge and understanding of related codes/standards. e.g., Unified Facility Criteria, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, ASHRAE, and AASHTO.

•Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar experience preferred.

•Professional registration or licensure – current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE).

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $82,200 - $157,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
