As a Senior Safety Engineer, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Perform Safety Analysis – Own the full spectrum of safety‑engineering studies. You’ll drive MIL‑STD‑882E and ARP‑1761 compliance by delivering high‑impact Functional Hazard Analyses (FHA), Preliminary Hazard Analyses (PHA), Operational Hazard Analysis (OHA), Fault‑Tree Analyses (FTA), Common‑Cause/Mode Analyses (CCA), Particular Risk Analyses (PRA) and comprehensive Safety Assessment Reports (SAR) for both developmental and production efforts.
- Autonomous Project Delivery – Operate under broad guidance while charting your own technical course. You’ll architect solution approaches, build realistic schedules, and orchestrate all activities needed to hit milestones and exceed program objectives.
- Work to decompose and/or develop contractual safety requirements for vendors and customers alike.
- Partner with the new business capture team to shape winning bids. You’ll help craft and refine proposal inputs, also leveraging Functional Bid metrics, to showcase our technical superiority and secure the next generation of mission‑critical work.
