The Engineering Systems CAD/CAM (computer-aided design, computer-aided manufacturing) team is looking for a motivated Senior Systems Design & Integration Specialist to join our team in Mesa, AZ.

On this team, you will play a pivotal role supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplane Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environments. Responsibilities aligned to this role include managing production configurations, coordinating and leading pre-production testing, and working with end-users to troubleshoot production issues.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages production v5 CATIA / Enovia configurations
  • Coordinates and leads pre-production testing
  • Works with end-users to troubleshoot production issues
  • Performs product and component management to ensure technical viability and cost-effectiveness from the point where it is evaluated through implementation and support, to retirement
  • Uses technical expertise to help business partners and others by answering technical questions regarding the usage, trouble-shooting and functionality of delivery systems products to ensure effective implementation and usage of delivery system products
  • Applies knowledge of computing systems to choose appropriate troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex, escalated delivery systems problems
  • Works with appropriate product supplier for enhancements and issues not resolved in-house
  • Chooses appropriate computing products and methods to ensure requirements are met for security, problem management, capacity/performance management and operational management
  • Documents resolutions/analyses according to support procedures

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

 Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience supporting Enovia engineering environments.
  • 5+ years of experience with Unix/AIX shell scripting.
  • 5+ years of experience with DB2 and SQL.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Boeings implementation of CATIA and Enovia
  • 1+ years of experience configuring applications running on AIX infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Boeings engineering data structures and business rules
  • Experience with Enovias People and Organizations access management tool.
  • Experience configuring applications running on AIX infrastructure.
  • Strong testing skills, experience testing CAA applications.

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years related work experience, 9 years related work experience, etc.

Summary pay range: $120,700 – $16,300
