Job Description Seeking an exceptional Engineer or Computer Scientist for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Forces acquisition of the Sentinel program, the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). As a critical member of the FLight Systems Branch, this position leverages technical skills towards the development of a six degrees of freedom (6-DOF) model to evaluate flight performance of the Sentinel missile.
The successful candidate will have a strong programming background and will be able to assist the Air Force in the creation, review, and assessment of documents, drawings, briefings, engineering analysis, and various other tasks in support of the deployment of the Sentinel weapon system.
The ideal candidate can apply extensive engineering knowledge to ensure and advance principles, theories, concepts, practices, and techniques; ensure accuracy and completeness of content, recommending corrective actions and providing support to programmatic and technical briefings, reports and other related documentation; and be able to plan, coordinate, execute, and complete tasks related to engineering processes, protocols, and implementation for the Sentinel System Program Office.
