The Systems Integration & Test: Environments Center includes all the engineering disciplines responsible for systems design & test on all Raytheon products. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test, including test requirements, test system design, flight simulations, hardware-in-the-loop, computer-in-the-loop, advanced engineering prototyping technology, flight operations for manned and unmanned vehicles, environmental testing, environmental characterization, and engineering laboratory management. We are hands-on, designing the latest technology and tools, and integrate state-of-the-art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world.
Raytheon is seeking an individual to fill our Engineer Services Support position to manage and implement engineering lab strategic projects and day-to-day administrative functions within multiple engineering labs, with specific focus on safety, security, and compliance using established doctrine and governance
This position is an onsite role in Tucson, AZ.

To be eligible for a SkillBridge Fellowship, you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be eligible to participate in Fellowship per DoD Instruction 1322.29.
- Must be projected to receive an honorable discharge from the military.
- Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.
- Must receive approval from the Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.
- Must be located within a commutable distance or willing/approved to relocate to the job location.
What You Will Do
- Lab Operating Procedure (LOP) Management; provide direction for lab users on established policies
- Management, coordination and implementation of Environment Health Safety and Sustainment
Property & Metrology Management - Perform cost analysis, ensure task completion within approved budgets
- Provide process support to Supply Chain Management (SCM)
- Oversee audit/assessment preparation. Overseeing Engineering Lab Objective Evaluation and Voluntary Protection Program; develop corrective action plans and assist in the development of long-range objectives, including engineering customer goals
- Safeguarding of classified/proprietary material, hardware, and documentation, utilizing defense material/property under Export Administration Regulations
- This position requires some physical exertion while standing, sitting, or walking, working outside
- Local travel in the general area may be required, with occasional travel outside the local area

Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 (two) years of relevant engineering services professional experience.
- This position requires 12 months or less relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical/electronic skills
- Experience with OSHA/NFPA industrial policies and regulations
- Experience with working directly with engineers, technicians and leadership in an engineering lab environment in the areas of safety, security, compliance and property management
- Experience with EHS, NISPOM, JAFAN and Foreign Object Elimination
- Ability to build positive, lasting relationships with customers
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong understanding and experience with Metrology and calibrations practices and preparing assets for such.
